I like inspiring books and this wasn’t. See all 3 questions about Les Thanatonautes…. Werber is an author with a great imagination, but that lacks the ability to creature attachable characters. Further suggestions might be found on the article’s talk page. Slightly too long in my opinion though.

The term thanatonaute is derived from “thanatologie”, comes from the Greek god of death Thanatos and nautis navigateur and thus signifies navigator of death or explorer of death.
